I started as a part-time staff member at Camp Y-Noah in 1999. I was a fast mover through the ranks from Program Specialist to L.I.T. counselor to Assistant O.E. Director. After two years at Y-Noah, a full time spot opened up at Mogadore Reservoir in 2001 and I enjoyed 3 years there, where I ran all operations of a 2000-acre lake and recreation grounds. I started as a full time Program Director (Youth Sports, Day Camp, and Indian Princesses) at Firestone Park in January of 2004. I came back to camp in 2005 as the Outdoor Learning Center Director running school groups, rentals, and the Adventure Courses. What do I enjoy about working with the YMCA? “The ah-ha moment when a child finally understands what you have been teaching them.”

In 2009 my wife Jen and I began working at the New York YMCA Camp where we spent three years working with campers from New York City and from more than 20 different countries.
