Firestone Equestrian Center
The Firestone Equestrian Center at Camp Y-Noah is a year-round riding facility for youth and adults situated on 290 acres in beautiful Green, Ohio. Our facility has a long tradition of excellence that traces its roots back to 1930 when the camp was started by the Akron Area YMCA. We take pride in offering programs year round with over 25 horses owned by the YMCA that live on site. We offer Group Lessons, Private Lessons, Public Trail Rides, Summer Day and Resident Horse Camps, Scout Merit Badge Programs, and a Teen Saddle Club. No matter your riding experience, our skilled instructors will challenge you. Come out and visit us at the ranch and you'll meet equestrian staff who are as good with people as they are with horses.
Riding Lessons are available year-round in 6 to 10 week sessions in our indoor and outdoor riding arenas from beginner to advanced level riders in both English and Western riding styles. Click here for more information about Riding Lessons Programs.
Trail Rides are offered to groups and the public and will take you through miles of beautiful trails that extend across the 290 wooded acres of Camp Y-Noah.
Scout Badges are offered for Girl and Boy Scout badge programs. These programs allow your group to earn their animal care, riding skills, and horseback riding Merit Badges.
Day and Overnight Camps are geared towards young horse enthusiasts who want to benefit from daily, intensive lessons each summer. Click here for more information about Summer Riding Programs.
Birthday Parties and Picnics are available for large and small groups in the heated classroom area of the Equestrian Center. A two hour
facility rental for 10 children and/or adults, 8 yrs and older that would like to have a Trail Blazers trail ride package is only $250. A two hour facility rental for children 7 and under is only $150 for Little Buckaroos B-day Parties arena ride package. Call today to schedule one of these packages!
The Teen Saddle Club is for teens who love horses! This is a volunteer opportunity for those who can't get enough. The club helps with weekend programming, help clean the barn and even help fundraise. We teach safety and keep them busy while they are having fun with the horses. Parents need to be on property for their young adult to participate. The Club starts meeting in April. If you are interested, call Camp at 330-896-1964 and talk with the Equestrian Director.

Big Dees Fundraiser
Do you need boots, a helmet or other supplies? If you buy them at Big Dees, they will give 5% back to the Firestone Equestrian Center. This is good year-round, so be sure to mention Camp Y-Noah when you purchase on-line or in the store.
