Lead by Example

Building educated, committed and diverse leaders of tomorrow.

Since 1994, the East Akron YMCA Minority Achievers Program continues to support minority youth in the community. Through mentoring relationships, tutoring sessions, youth leadership workshops, career seminars and community projects, Adult Achievers and volunteer leaders provide life examples to encourage minority youth to develop a sense of self-worth and set higher education and career goals.
