Over the past 12 years, the Endowment Foundation has provided grants totaling over $170,000 for graduate scholarships through the DeGraff Scholarship Fund.

The Harmon O. DeGraff Memorial Scholarship Fund was created to assist young men with a strong human relations orientation to pursue graduate study. The scholarship is restricted to those pursuing a Graduate degree in Sociology, Social Work, Theology, Industrial Relations or any field in which human relationships are emphasized and an integral part of the applicant's program.

Applications must be received by April 1st.

Is it restricted to any field?

Yes. Graduate degree in Sociology, Social Work, Theology, Industrial Relations or any field in which human relationships can be emphasized and an integral part of the applicant’s program.

Amount and length of time for award?

Amounts vary from $1,000 to $4,000 per year and is renewable for additional periods of time as required by the degree program.

Can I go to school part time?

No. Full-time course of study is expected.

May I receive other grants?

Yes.

May I work at the same time?

Yes, but not encouraged.

The selection is made by:

The three-person Memorial Scholarship Committee. The selection is based upon ability, motivation, objectives, human interests, similar qualifications without regard to race, creed, or religion.
