The Heart of the Akron Area YMCA
The Association Services Offices (ASO) houses the corporate administrative branch of the Akron Area YMCA. As the heart of it all, ASO works behind the scenes with administrative functions, including; Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, Information Technology Support, Fundraising and much more. Although the ASO only operates during normal weekday business hours, many of our staff is on call to support each branch throughout Summit, Medina and Portage Counties.
Although ASO's primary functions are designed to directly serve our branches, the office is also available to field questions and concerns regarding all aspects of the Akron Area YMCA and serve as a central meeting place for leadership groups, such as a our Board of Trustees.
