Family Enrichment Center
The Family Enrichment Center serves our community with Early Care and Education programs. The center is located within the Wilbeth/Arlington Homes in a collaboration with the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority. Our child care program is state licensed and includes music, dance and fitness classes; language arts, science, pre-math and pre-reading lessons; as well as social and emotional development skills. The children are also introduced to the YMCA's core values of caring, honesty, respect and reponsibility.
Family Enrichment Center Facts:
Ages Served: 6 weeks to 5 years
Type of Lesson Planning: We utilize the Creative Curriculum ® for Lesssons. Children enrolled are provided an opportunity to develop his/her skills through a balance of of child initated and teacher directed activities. Our program is based off of weekly themes which enhance our daily lessons.
School-Age Child Care: No (only available at our Firestone Park Branch location)
Hours of Operation: 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and PM Snack
