Making Sure We All Agree
MEMBERSHIP DUES AND START UP FEES
All memberships are subject to a one-time non-refundable Startup Fee for processing. Membership dues may be paid annually or by monthly draft. All membership dues, monthly or annual, once paid are non-refundable. Any automatic draft that is returned will be charged a $5 returned payment fee. If returned, the draft will be automatically resubmitted for payment. Daxko Full Service Billing will contact you to collect outstanding membership dues. Any balances left unpaid will result in membership cancellation. The YMCA will give you 30 days’ notice prior to any membership dues increase.
Monthly draft is a continuous membership until cancelled in writing. The member must connect with us during normal business hours, to provide no less than a 24-hour notice of cancellation prior to the draft date. Voicemail and /or e-mail communication will not be considered a valid notice until confirmed by Y staff. Failure to do so will make subsequent drafts non-refundable. Members participating in payroll deduction with their employer may require up to 2 weeks additional notice. Members are responsible for reviewing bank statements to verify their draft cancellation. Membership is not based on facility usage; monthly membership dues will be withdrawn whether or not members use the facility. Startup fees will be waived if a membership is renewed within 90 days, but will apply to renewals after 90 days.
Members may put their membership on-hold for a maximum of 3 months, in a rolling 12 month period, free of charge. The member must connect with us during normal business hours, to provide no less than a 24-hour notice of hold prior to the draft date. Voicemails and /or e-mail communication will not be considered a valid notice until confirmed by Y staff. Failure to do so will make subsequent drafts non-refundable. Members participating in payroll deduction with their employer may require up to 2 weeks additional notice. While on-hold, the member will not be charged their monthly membership dues. The membership will be inactive during this time and the member will forgo access to all facilities. If a member wishes to sign up for a program while on-hold they will be charged the program member rate. Once the hold is released, the membership will automatically begin drafting again.
