At the YMCA we've made the health and fitness of our seniors a top priority by providing programs for the spirit, mind and body. Through group exercise classes and aquatic programs that concentrate on mobility and flexibility, dance classes, social events, and volunteer activities, the YMCA is bringing Seniors / Active Older Adults together for camaraderie, fellowship and fun!

Silver Sneakers Classes are included for FREE with your membership. No registration required!*

Silver Sneakers Classic

Silver Sneakers Classic focuses on strengthening muscles and increasing range of movement for daily life activities. Participants can use hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball. Often a chair is used for seated exercises or standing support.

Silver Sneakers Yoga

With SilverSneakers Yoga, participants complete seated and standing yoga poses. This class is suitable for beginners to advanced yogis, and it provides breathing exercises and relaxation without the strain on your joints.

Senior Core Conditioning

Focus on strengthening your core with moves that encourage strength and flexibility.

Get that heart rate up with a cardio workout designed for our seniors! This class is designed to help build cardiovascular endurance, improve flexibility, promote balance, increase muscular strength and enhance your energy level.

Senior Toning

Toning emphasizes strengthening and conditioning of all major muscle groups while also increasing flexibility. Toning is appropriate for all fitness levels.

Silver Sneakers SPLASH*

Silver Sneakers SPLASH is similar to a Land Aerobics class, but adapted for the unique properties of the water. The water's resistance provides a low-impact, high-intensity workout, without the need for swimming skills. Splash is held in both shallow and deep parts of the pool. *This class is free, but does require registration. You can register online HERE or at the front desk.
