Specialized staff and smaller group placement allow infants, from 6 weeks to 12 months, to have the special TLC, interaction and quiet time they need for positive growth and development.
When they are ready for the Toddler rooms, also at these respective centers, they are already familiar with the cadence and kindness that are signatures of quality-rated facilities
Our staff and programming are deeply rooted into the YMCA core values of caring, honestly, respect, responsibility, and faith.

All of our Early Care and Education Centers are highly rated (5 stars) from the stringent State of Ohio "Step up to Quality" standards. Our professional staff continually works to keep up-to-date with all state educational requirements, assuring that every child in our care is surrounded by a nurturing environment with an emphasis on safety, parent peace-of-mind and Kindergarten readiness.
Our Centers do accept public funding. However, it is up to the family to work with the local Jobs and Family Services location or contact ssp.benefits.ohio.gov to apply for these services while meeting meet the necessary qualifications. Securing the okay from the State of Ohio needs to be done before applying to the Center, should the public funding benefit be sought for child care.
We want everyone to have the chance to benefit from our Y Child Care. If you wish to use our Sliding Scale, please visit the desired location and bring your recent tax statement or OWF/TANF/SNAP documents/cards and a written letter explaining your need. Our staff can approve a discounted rate. If you do not have your 1040s OWF/TANF/SNAP documents/cards, our director review process may take 2 weeks.
