Important Information

  • You must be 18+ to reserve any part of the facility. 
  • Contract holder must be present at the rental 
  • Rentals are for private parties only 
  • Use of facility is limited to what is listed on the contract 
  • Anyone 18+ entering the facility must present a current, valid photo identification
  • We run RAPTOR background checks prior to entry 
  • Decorations may be used, however, piñatas, glitter & confetti are not permitted 
  • General clean up is the responsibility of the contract holder. This includes: trash to cans, removal of all decorations. If the Y staff needs to do any clean up other than general cleaning after your rental, you will be invoiced $25 per hour. 
  • If injury or incident occurs during your rental, you must alert the front desk staff so they can take appropriate action and fill out an incident report. 
  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to your event will receive a full refund. If cancellation is made after that time any amount paid over the $50 will be refunded.
  • Groups must have minimally 1 adult per 15 youth. Chaperones are to stay in the area where the youth are at all times. 
  • Promotional pieces may state that your activity is being held at the Riverfront YMCA, but in no way should it appear as though it is being sponsored by the Y. 
  • Smoking and/or use of any tobacco or vaping is not permitted anywhere on the YMCA property. 
  • Alcoholic beverages are not permitted anywhere on YMCA property 
  • Food and beverages are limited to the party room. The Y has the right to hold the contract holder responsible for any loss or damage to the facility or equipment, and has the right to remove from the facility anyone who is unrul or fails to follow Y policy and procedures.

Type of Rental

I Understand:

  • For the safety of your children, there will be 10 minute safety breaks every hour and the Lifeguard will issue a swim test.
  • In order for your party to swim you must provide adults in the water swimming with the children. Adults must be 18+ years old. I understand that if I do not provide the required amount of adults in the water that my group will not be permitted to swim.
  •  Ratio of adult to children under 6 years old: 1 adult for every 3 children. Children age 5 and under must have parent/adult [ages 18+] in the water with their children. An adult who has more than one child in a red band, additional children wear either a lifejacket or puddle jumper. Lifejacket required when water reaches armpit and no adult is within arm’s reach.
  • Ratio of adults to children 6 years & older: minimum of 2 adults in water at all times Up to 10 swimmers 2 Adults in the water 10-14 swimmers 3 Adults in the water 15-20 swimmers 5 adults in the water
  •  For sanitary reasons, and due to the possibility of choking, all participants must swim before eating.
  • The Lifeguard’s word will be final concerning all swim disputes.
