Discount Offers
There are several ways to qualify for different discounts that the Akron Area YMCA has to offer.
Refer a Friend
Refer a friend to join the Y and we'll thank you with a discount on your next month's dues.
YOU receive FREE MONTH of membership*, THEY save $50 with a $0 JOIN FEE. Qualifying is easy:
1. Tell your friends and family about the Y.
2. Fill out the webform via the button below.
3. If your friend joins, lists your name in their registration, and stays with our Y for at least 1 month, YOU receive 1 FREE month of membership!
Some restrictions may apply. This is only available to Members of the Akron Area Y. Cannot be applied to corporate and/or payroll deduction.
Health Insurance
Several health insurance programs offer reimbursement for part of your monthly dues. Check with your insurance provider to see if you qualify, or click the button below to see which providers we currently accept.
Military Membership
The Akron Area YMCA partners with the U.S. Department of Defense to offer free military outreach memberships to eligible military families.
Sliding Membership Scale
The Y offers a sliding membership scale to qualifying participants--we want the Y to be accessible to everyone, regardless of circumstance.
